There is also a way to vape CBD flower itself, much like you can do with other legal herbs, by using a vaporizer device made for dry herbs. Rather than burning your flower, this will instead heat it up until the chemicals inside are activated and released. This is a bit less harsh when compared to dabbing, and tends to provide better flavor, effects, and an overall smoother experience.
Lastly, you can also dab CBD concentrates, but this is not a method of ingestion many people choose because it involves a bit more process, has more health risks, and tends to be a bit over the top. For Example: If you have 14 grams of CBD Flower with 15% CBD content, then that means 2.1g of that flower is CBD. Therefore, if you smoke 2 grams of CBD flower per day, you will be taking 300mg of CBD. Alternatively, with higher CBD content flower (which can reach as high as 20% these days for some strains) – you can get even more CBD from smoking the same amount of flower.
That being said, you should speak to a doctor before deciding to vape CBD or smoke CBD flower. They will be able to advise you on the best dosage and method of taking cannabidiol for your needs.
CBD Capsules & Pills
CBD capsules are perhaps the easiest way to take CBD daily if you simply want something simple, quick, and easy that is still affordable and readily available. It is a mild dosage, with most capsules being between 10-40mg, though some stronger ones do target the 50-60mg range.
The beauty of capsules is that they are digested over time, giving your body a smoother release of CBD throughout the day than some other methods of ingestion such as oral sprays or sublingual.
They are also a bit less expensive than other forms of ingestible CBD and come in larger containers that fit more doses. Obviously, they don’t have flavor, but you just take them much like you would a normal pill with a glass of water.
Who Are CBD Capsules Best For?
CBD capsules are best for you if you are looking for a solution that is:

Obviously, you shouldn’t take twenty 20mg CBD capsules per day if you need 400mg of CBD. These capsules are meant more for people who need to take maybe one or two doses of 1-2 capsules per day, and plan on doing it on a regular basis. If you need a higher dosage, you may want to consider something a bit stronger, but if you want to get started on CBD with small doses, capsules are one of the best ways to get started.
One of the advantages of taking CBD capsules is that they allow you to fine-tune your dosage probably better than any other type of CBD. The reason is that they are all the same size, with the same volume, and the same potency. So, a 5mg CBD capsule is always going to have 5mg in it. Sure, there may be quality control standards that allow for it to differ by +/- a few micrograms, but it’s negligible compared to other methods of ingestion.

CBD isolates tend to be the most expensive, and also the most scrutinized. Because the product is so pure, and the recommended dosage is unknown, there is a lot of room for companies to be shady on their end of things, and users to be uneducated on their end of things – which can be a bad combo.
